I have read historical romance novels since I was a teenager. To me, the perfect historical romance has a mixture of accurate history and believable romance. I love losing myself in a different time period, not necessarily regency either! I know that’s a huge fan favorite, but I just can’t get into it. Give me war and men in kilts any day of the week!

I write historical romance novels for another reason. I love to tell stories of strong heroines from varying parts of history. Sometimes, the good stories are overlooked because of other, more dominate genres.
